The facilities in the hotel worked well - I was running a two-day seminar there, and everything I needed was well catered for. Attentive staff, refreshments available when needed, timely food service. Rooms were a good size, well appointed, excellent bathrooms, good range of TV international TV channels, free wi-fi throughout the hotel. The restaurant served good quality food throughout the day, although the breakfast selection could get boring if staying a while. Bizarrely the hotel required anyone using the pool to wear both a swim hat and goggles. There is nothing around the hotel apart from office blocks, and the only way to get to the centre is by taxi. These are very cheap, but except at the quietest times this means a 30 minute journey.

I and my partner spent 4 nights in early August. It was not very hot during those days as it could have been in this time of the year in Bulgaria, but we still needed an air conditioning. The room was quite big and decorated in a classic style. The bathroom was big with a bathtub and a shower. It had even a bidet apart from a normal toilet.
The hotel is located about 4-5 km from the city center but we found it actually very good to be away from all the smog and noise; quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful view of the mountain and clean air. It is so easy to get to the center either by taxi or as we discovered later by tram or bus. We like peace so we enjoyed the hotel very much. We didn't experience any noise.
Regarding the stuff, we found them very nice and helpful. Perhaps they were a little grumpy at breakfast.
The hotel restaurant is nice and offers good food as we experienced. Our food was fantastic but more expensive than in the city. Breakfast in contrary was not up to 4 star hotel standards, we expected a fresh bread/buns rather than day old.
Overall our experience in this hotel was very good and we would go back there again.

This is a beautiful looking hotel with very large bathrooms. The staff are generally polite, friendly and helpful. I use the word generally as the staff at breakfast seemed to be grumpy at times but perhaps they are not morning people.
The buffet breakfast was good although I would have preferred more of a selection of sweet pastries. I was astonished to find streamed/boiled brocolli and cauliflower at breakfast but perhaps this typically served at breakfast in Bulgaria.
Rooms are good and there is an excellent choice of TV channels although the TV reception could have been clearer.
My main reservation is that the hotel appears to be designed almost exclusively for business travellers. For example there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, I would certainly expect a hotel of this calibre to have this together with a small pack complimentary biscuits. There is also no facility to borrow an iron and ironing board which I found annoying. Instead you can pay to have your clothes pressed by laundry.
Central Sofia is reasonably close by and taxis are cheap and plentiful. In fact if you don't mind walking then you can walk to central Sofia in around 40 minutes.

Quite pleased from this hotel! The room was great and very spacy (studio), the service was very good and I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

We just had our wedding at Greenville Hotel and Apartments in Sofia.
We were staying in the wedding suite and we also hired 4 doublerooms for our guests from Norway.
The welcome was very fine and the bellboys are fast and nice.
The staff in the reception are very friendly and will fix everything for you. The most are speaking english well.
The hotel is new and its very beautiful inside. Nice colors that gives a warm feeling.
And everywhere in the hotel is it very clean.
The wedding suite was beautiful and big. It was a warm day when we arrived and the room was horrible hot (28C). We turned the aircondition on full speed, but it just helped a very little or at all. Eight hours later it was still 27C. We even called to reception to confirm that we did it correct and they sendt a man that confirmed that. The other days of our stay it was cooler outside at least...
Roomservice was fast and very helpfull with all our requests.
The restaurant is very nice and they are serving excellent food! We were eating lunch and dinner there and the cookers are really the stars of the hotel. The prices in the restaurant is high to be in Bulgaria, but the food is so excellent that its worth every leva. The servers are mostly very well, but a little too much in hurry to take your plate even before you are finished to eat.
You can surely enjoy your stay here and dont miss out to eat in the restaurant.
