The number of Israeli tourists is expected to be doubled this year. Over 150 000 Israeli tourists visited Bulgaria in 2010. Turkey is no longer their favourite destination and they may choose Bulgaria for their beach vacation. Hence, this year their number can be doubled. According to Israel ambassador in Bulgaria Noah Gal Gendler, Israeli holidaymakers cannot go to Turkey anymore and they will opt for a vacation in Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
Bulgaria’s seaside capital Varna is most visited destination by Israeli tourists. The city attracts Israeli citizens because of the pristine beaches, crystal clear Black Sea, various entertainment options and casinos.
