FIS included Bulgaria’s Pamporovo on the list of ski resorts

Bulgarian Ski Federation expects the final decision which will confirm whether Pamporovo will be the official host of two slaloms of European Ski Cup in 2012.
All examinations have been finished and therefore the final approval should be announced shortly. Bulgarian Ski Federation has a long term policy which aims to position Bulgaria’s ski resorts in the sport calendar of FIS. Therefore, the inclusion of Pamporovo is also a part of the strategy.
Borovets also wishes to organize a great competition in the next couple of years. However, it seems that Bansko is the top ski resort which has become rather popular due to its being a host for the two rounds of Men's World Cup.
