New Airport on Bulgaria's Black Sea Coast

Planes will land in Bulgaria's southern Black Sea resort of Primorsko. Krassimir Stanev, head of Albena AD received the official airport licence from the Ministry of Transport Wednesday, the Standart learnt. The runway is 910x300 m and of perfect asphalt. It could be lengthened to 1200m. It can serve 10 to 12-seat planes; the little airport disposes of a fuel and lubricant storehouse. A hangar and a small hotel are to be built adjacent to the airport. Pilot Ivan Apostolov, referred to as the best experienced in Bulgaria, will be the head of the airport. Meanwhile 145 planes took off and landed in the airport in Bourgas (Bulgaria's southern Black Sea port), which is an absolute record in the history of the airport. Since the beginning of the year 15.81% more passengers passed via the two terminals compared to the some period last year. see source
