Thousands Prayed for Health in the Bachkovo Monastery

Four cauldrons with 100 liters of holy water in each of them waited for the worshippers in the Bachkovo Monastery on the Feast of the Assumption. Thousands of worshippers from all over the country arrived in the monastery on this day. Father Superior Boris sprinkled them with holy water.
People believe that sleeping near the monastery on the night before the Assumption will cure the ill and bring stronger health to the rest of them. That's why a week before the Assumption Day worshippers start gathering in the monastery. They sleep in the cells for guests. People pray every day before the miracle-working icon of Our Lady in the monasterial church.
