Tourists from Europe, USA and Australia visit Bulgaria to observe world threatened to extinction animal species or rare plants and butterflies.
Annually around 5000 foreign tourists visit green Bulgaria, because of its alternative tourism opportunities and every year the number increases.
In contrast to the usual tourist, who searches for a good hotel on the Black Sea coast, the customer of an agency for alternative tourism prefers a place, where can find rare bird, flower or butterfly.
Every year the number of tourists, visiting Bulgaria because of the wonderful nature, increases over and over again.
A tourist pays approximately 120 or 180 euro per day, as the food, transport, a hotel, guide, providing objects, logistics are included in the price.
Usually people who like this kind of tourism are keen on photographing.
Special tours are organized for them, providing them “objects for shooting”, according to their interests-birds, plants, butterflies, mammals and dragonflies.
The most popular places for alternative tourism among tourists are Central Balkan Mountain, cape Kaliakra, Melnik, Kresna’s gorge and Trigrad.
Tourists are mainly from Europe-England, Germany, Holland, Denmark, but French, Italians and Spanish are also interested in. There are some customers even from USA and Australia.
