A report of Australian tourist site Travel Blackboard published that Bulgaria is among the most ethical world destinations for 2008.
The most ethical world tourist destinations for 2008 ordered alphabetically are: Argentine, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Chile, Croatia, Costa Rica, Estonia, Namibia, Nicaragua and South Africa.
It is said in the report that none of the selected countries doesn’t correspond completely with all criteria, but they are “voted as trustful”, as special attention is paid to the local specifics and the conditions, which can be offered to tourists.
Three main factors are taken into consideration when making the top 10-the protection of the environment, life conditions and protection of human rights.
“Every year the interest of the public in the responsible tourism becomes greater”, commented Jeff Greenwold who is executive director of “Ethical journeys” and co-author of the report.
