Energy-saving effective systems will be built in Black Sea hotels

Hotels in Sunny Beach resort and Nessebar, Bulgaria will participate in a project for the construction of energy-efficient systems and proper usage of alternative energy resources. The aim of the project is to create a green European network of tourism resorts. The project RELACS works in the area of application of systems for renewable energy in buildings that are used as accommodation. 25 Bulgarian hotels will be registered in the project and their total number is 100. Also, it is due to create criteria that an energy-sustainable hotel should meet and consequently a contest will be organized for all participants in the project. The latter foresees the construction of automated systems which will monitor the temperature and the lighting in the rooms, hallways, foyers, halls, kitchen equipment and they will be regulated automatically. The fulfilment of the project is believed to reduce the amount of energy, consumed in hotels, by 20%.
