Ski Lift passes get more expensive

The official start of the winter tourist season coincides with the time when ski lift passes will get more expensive. For instance, the price will be increased by 13% in some winter resorts. On the other hand, some offers have a discount up to 5% in response to the dire financial situation.
The price of the winter ski pass in Bansko will be increased by 11% and the total amount to be paid is 860 BGN, commented Ulen, the concessioner in Bansko . The price used to be 760 BGN last year. Notwithstanding, the daily ski pass in Bansko will be sold for 50 BGN and 6-day one for 283 BGN.
Chepelare winter resort has also decided to raise the price of the daily ski pass. However, the famous sports center remains the cheapest skiing resort in Bulgaria. The price will be 38 BGN. In order to compensate customers and respectively to attract them for a longer period, the resort has dropped prices of 3-day lift pass-94 BGN, 6-day-192 BGN.
Borovets and Pamporovo have not officially stated their prices for the upcoming winter season 2009/2010, but no changes are expected.
