A growth of Russian tourists in Bulgaria’s winter resorts

The number of Russian holidaymakers who visited Bansko has increased by 17% this winter season. Moreover, figures show that many Russian tourists booked their vacation for February and March. According to the official data, February is the most preferred month for the ski vacation of Russian holidaymakers.
Bulgarian Institute for Analysis and assessment of tourism also reported that there is a significant growth of Brits this year. According to the data, the number of British skiers who choose their good value for money vacation in Bulgaria has increased by 6% as compared to last year’s figures. The increase is a result of the regular flights of low-cost carriers which service Plovdiv airport. Actually, Britons are the greatest number of foreign tourists who choose Bulgaria this winter. Yet, the number of holidaymakers will be on the rise in March.
