Bulgaria еxpects 2-3% growth of winter holidays

Bulgaria’s deputy Economy Minister, Ivo Marinov, has announced that the country expects a growth of 2-3% of the winter holidays.
He pointed out that Bulgaria's tourism advertising has harvested positive results so far. According to him, the country would depend on the ad campaign in order to boost the representation of the country as a year-long tourist destination.
Marinov participated in the presentation of the new tourism project "Rediscover Bulgaria," which aims at selecting 50 unknown and interesting destinations, which would be interesting for tourists and could develop the local businesses.
Bulgarian citizens will be able to take part in the selection of the new 50 places by submitting their propositions. The only requirements are that new destinations should not have been included on the list of the Top 100 Bulgarian tourist sites. Marinov has stated that the new list would should have been completed by the spring of 2011.
