Ruen is ready for the development of rural and eco tourism

“The opportunity for the development of rural and eco tourism in the Municipality Ruen is given by the perfect location of Ruen the rich historical and cultural tradition.” said its mayor.
The eastern part of Stara Planina up to a point reminds of its western parts, where some tourism opportunities are undeveloped. One of the oldest and most impressive foot walking routes-from Kom Hill to Cape Emine Is situated between these two parts.
Unique plant and animal species are found alongside the river Hadjiiska in the municipality Ruen, also a farm for snails is established and it has already attracted many visitors. Groups of tourists, fond of hunting are welcomed in the forests around the village Topchiisko, where they can find priceless game and availability of over 100 beds for spending a couple of nights.
Well-known rocky mushrooms in the village Sini Rid are attractive tourist object. Moreover, an old Turkish cemetery, which is an object of religious tourism for Muslims in Bulgaria, can be also seen.
Last but not least, another interesting architectural monument is the Mosque in the village Razboina, which has been constructed without putting even one nail.
