One more tour operator from Holland

One of the biggest tour operators from Holland- De Jong Intre Vakanties starts offering excursions to Bulgaria this year. This was announced for Dnevnik by the Tourism Agency. The company has already included Bulgaria in its catalogues for 2005. On the opening of the tourist market in Utreht, Holland it became clear that the tour operator “Vamos” has also included Bulgaria in its offers. In that way that total number of the Holland agencies operating in our country becomes nine. De Jong Intre Vakanties is already selling holidays on the seaside in Albena, Golden sands, st. Konstantin and Elena, Sunny beach and vocation club Riviera. The tour operator also offers other services as fly and drive in Bulgaria. The company is aiming to make 56 charter flights from Amsterdam to Varna with Transavia Airlines and 19 to Bourgas during the summer. The first flight is planned for May the 16th and the last one is for September the 19th. De Jong Intra Vakanties are hoping to bring 8000 tourists to Bulgaria, if their programme succeeds. “Vamos” plans to send 2000 Holland tourists. The first steps of the two companies on the Bulgarian market are expected to bring 10 000 Holland tourists more that the previous year. The Holland tour operators are mainly interested in our seaside. The accent is put on the so called “camp” tourism. They are also exploring the possibilities for the development of the cultural tourism in Bulgaria. This interest has been provoked by the programs, about the newest archeological excavations in Bulgaria, which were broadcasted on the Holland’s national television channels right before the opening of the tourism market in Utreht.
