Bulgaria participates in the prestigious tourism expo ‘MATKA’’

Bulgaria will take part in the important International tourism expos ‘’MATKA’’ in Finland and ‘’Slovakiatour’’ in Slovakia. These two exhibitions start today and finish on 23rd of January 2011.
It is believed that the tourism expo in Helsinki is the most significant tourism exhibition in Northern Europe. 1233 exhibitions from 73 countries took part in the event in 2010. Also, the number of visitors was over 81 500 people. ‘’Slovakiatour’’ is the biggest tourism expo in Slovakia. 530 representatives of 29 countries took part in the event in 2010. More than 62 700 people attended the event. Bulgaria is a popular beach destination in Slovakia. However, this year’s accent will be the presentation of Bulgaria as an all-year holiday venue.
