Bulgaria’s participation in Shanghai China Expo 2010 estimated at 1,3 million BG

The Council of ministers will allocate 1 321 650 BGN for the preparation, organization and co-ordination of the Bulgarian participation in the International Expo 2010 Shanghai, China. The funds have been provided by the central budget. The expo will take place from the 1st May until 31st of October 2010 under the slogan “Better city, better life”.The exhibition will be prepared, organized and co-ordinated by the “International fair” EAD, Plovdiv city. Bulgarian participation in Expo 2010 gives opportunities to attract foreign investments, advertise and promote Bulgaria as an interesting tourism destination, present the Bulgarian scientific achievements and their appliance in the urban planning. It will also strengthen the trading and economic relationships between Bulgaria and China and develop the partnership between the businesses.
