“Bulgaria-modern destination for four seasons”-this is the motto, by which the director of the National Tourism Agency, Mrs. Krushkova represented Bulgaria to Russian media, travel agencies, etc. She pointed to the fact that Bulgaria is well-known with sea and ski tourism, but it also has excellent conditions for spa, wellness, cultural and historical, business, rural and eco tourism, golf and other modern tourist products. Advertising campaign has recently started on some national and local TV channels. It will repeat again in May. Five TV clips being broadcasted: for cultural and historical heritage, for spa and wellness, for rural and eco, for sea and youth tourism and a general clip. Russian residents will have the right for up to two-five year visas. Owners of property in Bulgaria will receive multiple visas with advantage, as well as their relatives and close friends. Bulgarian stand is in the center of the main building, where the exhibition takes place. The imitation of world-famous Panagyurishte Gold Treasure immediately catches visitor’s eye. The dancers of “Akrani” and Krasimir Kostov, who demonstrated icon-painting in front of the public, were loudly applauded. “ALBENA” offers to the guests of the stand wellness procedures free of charge. This year the accent in the programme of the World Tourism Organization is a conference for the modern development and prospects of spa and wellness industry, which will be held on the 17th of March in Krokus Expocenter.
