Nessebar renews the certificate for being a member of the Organization of World Heritage Cities

Nessebar coastal resort has renewed its certificate for being a member of the Organization of World Heritage Cities. This is the only Bulgarian town, included in the list. Nessebar is also among the founders of the organization. 238 towns are included in the organizations. 120 of them are located in Europe and North USA, 36 in Latin America, 20 in Asia, 20 in Arabic countries and 7 in Africa. The organization was founded in 1993 in Morocco. The foundation date is celebrated every year in Nessebar and all other locations around the world.
What unifies those cities is that they all arrange various campaigns to further promote its rich historic heritage and thus develop the cultural tourism in the region.
