A project for the development of alternative tourism along the Danube River will be done by Bulgaria and Romania. The project is named TourNet – Promotion of Cross-border Networking for Development of a Common Bulgarian-Romanian Tourist Product. The project is estimated to cost 490 000 EUR. The centre for the support of the small and middle enterprises in Rousse, the municipal council Gurgevo, association “Euro region Danubis” - Rousse, and academy for economy science – Territory university centre – Guyrgevo will work in a close cooperation in order to create an elaborate tourist product. A website, translated in 4 languages, will provide further information on the opportunities for alternative tourism along Danube River.
