It has been reported that Bulgaria’s winter resorts have sufficient electricity supply in order to ensure the tourist season if no serious natural cataclysms occur. All ski resorts in Bulgaria have a specific hotel capacity and therefore power supply is provided in accordance with this capacity. Of course, the construction of new hotels and buildings also naturally affects the electricity consumption. Three years ago when the construction boom in Bansko and Razlog has seen an increase, all electricity facilities underwent serious reconstruction. Also, all newly constructed hotels that due to open have power supply.
