World Snow Day 2012 in Bulgaria’s ski resorts

Today is the world day of snow which is under the auspices of FIS. Winter resorts in Bulgaria will host special events today. Ulen, the concessionaire of the ski tracks in Bansko, will mark the event with a special gesture for all kids who are under 12-year-old. They will be able to enjoy skiing as they buy ski lift passes for 1 BGN only.
The holiday will be celebrated in Bulgaria’s capital city Sofia which is near the awe-inspiring Vitosha mountain. The holiday will be celebrated in the park in front of the museum ‘Earth and people’. There will be alpine ski lessons, cross country skiing, as well as sleigh downhills.
