
The church “St. St. Konstantin and Elena” is settled in the picturesque town of Veliko Tarnovo. In 19 th century it was surrounded by the big Revival houses. It was built by Kolio Ficheto, who cleverly has combined the different architectural forms and elements, as half – cylindrical, elliptical and crossed vault arch, half – circled and flattened arches. The church is with a nave and two aisles. The inner part is bright and beautiful. At its main entrance, on the both sides of the outer door, there are two revolving colons, which shows the straightness of the building. Kolio Ficheto succeeded to build and to combine the church and the belfry in very beautiful way. He also had big success in painting monumental architecture. Nowadays the church has preserved its unique architecture meaning.

To the left of the main entrance there are two tombstones of prominent local workers. The first one belongs to hadji Mincho Hadjitzachev. Here is the monument of Panaret Rashev, made by the Rumanian sculptor Ion Djordjesko. On the south façade later are built in rich ornamental tombstones.
