Kiten beach hotel

I and my boyfriend booked one week holiday at hotel Kiten Beach. On the picture, the hotel looked quite nice and seemed to offer different facilities. Fortunately, the room was spacious, the bed big and the air conditioner was working. However, the rest was a huge disappointment.

The fridge did not work and even though we informed the staff the very first day, they did not anything about it. The room was supposed to be clean every day, but the "cleaning" included only change in the towels! By the end of the vacation, the balcony had so much sand as on the beach. The restaurant was terrible! Very cheap quality food and absolutely no variety, no fresh fruit for breakfast and no fruit juice - instead a cheap orange squash (cordial). One of the waiters was riding a trolley and the other waitress was sweeping the restaurant while we were having our dinner. Most of the facilities in the hotel don't work. Most of the machines in the fitness center are rusty and broken, the bar on the top is closed. There is no wireless in the room (although the website states it should!). The outdoor swimming pool is small and was almost impossible to get a sunbed. We had a chance to speak with the manager (owner) and expressed our disappointment. Instead of apologizing, he was rude and arrogant with us, to quote: "What do you want? The hotel may be a bit dirty but this is because of the many groups. They pay more than you pay".

I would never consider staying in that place again. Kiten is a nice town with many hotel around which offer much better value for money.
