All white stuff enthusiasts, skiers and snowboarders attended the official opening of ski season in Borovets. The great snow show took place on 18th of December 2010. Thousands of tourists were amazed at the well-groomed ski pistes which were attentively services by modern cannons. Borovets surprised pleasantly all skiers and snowboarders who enjoyed themselves at the ski tracks. The most attractive part of the opening were the horses, drawing skiers. This attraction will be available in Borovets until the end of the ski season. The big downhill began with a spectacle of kids ski teams. Best snowboarders didn’t miss to demonstrate their skills.

We are pleased to inform you that Borovets winter resort has a new snow-making system for ski season 2010/2011. For the first time skiers will be able to check regularly the ski conditions on Internet in their hotel rooms. Seven webcams have been installed in the resort in order to provide tourists with real-time information. If you would like to raise your adrenaline, don’t miss to enjoy ski jumping at the designated area in front of Rila Hotel.
