Bansko mountainous resort to attract tourists in summer with cultural and festiv

Bansko has been already pinned on the map of the modern European winter resorts, but the aim of local municipal representatives is to make it together with Dobrinishte mountainous resort and other settlements in the region, located in Pirin and Rhodopes mountain, all-year mountainous complex. This announced during by Bansko’s mayor, Alexander Kravarov, during the official opening of the new summer tourist season in Bansko. Various festive and cultural events will take place in u>Bansko in order to attract more tourists in the summer season. The summer season in Bansko was officially opened yesterday on 24th May. The opening coincided with the traditional holidays of Bansko’s traditions and folklore festival for authentic songs. The 6th edition of the 2-day International Folklore Festival “Between three mountains” already began on the 23d of May. This year a great number of participants, over 1300, took part in the festival. Next the traditional Theatre Festival will take place and finally the famous International Jazz Festival Bansko.
