World poker elite arrive in Bulgaria next month. Top players will gather in the resort of Golden Sands on the 11th of May to compete for the 100 000 EUR award of the famous tournament “Balkan Pokernews Challenge” which will become a traditional annual event. This was clarified by Mr. Yordanov, the Manager of Bulgarian branch of Pokerstars-the biggest poker site in the world. Each week more than 1000 are the newly registered Bulgarian poker players which prove the point that the game is a favourite to many and the interest in it is significant. In fact, one can apply to participate at the virtual room and try his chance to win 100, 000 EUR the next month. “Balkan Pokernews Challenge” will take place from the May 11th until 17th in Grand Hotel Casino International in the summer resort of Golden Sands . The idea is to turn the popular Bulgarian coastal resort into an attractive poker destination in the beginning of summer. It is expected that the tournament will attract players from all over Europe who will play live and the organizers will award them with a fabulous summer holiday at Bulgarian seaside. The CEO of Pokerstars reported that the idea is to turn Bulgaria into a tourist destination attractive for wealthy European tourists who will be glad to combine their holiday with the challenge of the poker competition.
