hotel overview:
Evelina palace hotel is located on the west coast of Glazne river on the main road to the cabin lift and about 200 meters from the city center
The hotel has a classical 90 seats restaurant and 20 seats in the garden with rich menu of typical Bulgarian food and Bansko courses. A great place for a business lunch, romantic dinner or a noisy party
In Evelina palace hotel there is a sports bar with tennis table, mini football and other games
A lobby bar with it’s cozy atmosphere for cocktails and drinks to enjoy with friends, next to a fireplace
A big swimming pool and children’s pооl, sauna, fitness room There is a free ski room, where ski equipment may be placed and ski boots may dry
Children’s area is mobile, next to the reception or in the restaurant ( depends on the parent’s wish )
Some attractions for the kids in the hotel garden during the summer
Payable services: Internet room, safe box, massage, laundry, games.
What guests appreciate most
Among the strongest features of Evelina Palace are its convenient location close to central Bansko, welcoming staff and good standards of cleanliness. Guests frequently appreciate the comfortable and warm rooms, balconies and views towards the mountains or the Glazne River. The restaurant receives positive comments for food quality, while the indoor swimming pool, sauna and other relaxation facilities are practical additions after an active day. During winter, organised transport to the ski area is particularly useful for guests carrying ski equipment.
What guests most often complain about
The most recurring criticisms concern the older style of some furnishings and the need for renovation in certain rooms and shared areas. Recent reviews mention that the swimming-pool water can sometimes feel colder than expected, while some guests report weak or unavailable Wi-Fi in their rooms. There are also occasional comments about the technical condition of some wellness facilities and limited food variety during certain stays. Rooms facing the main road can be noisier than those overlooking the quieter side or garden.
Who is this hotel suitable for?
Evelina Palace is suitable for couples, families, groups and skiers who prefer staying close to central Bansko without requiring immediate proximity to the gondola. The swimming pool and relaxation facilities make it practical for family holidays, while the restaurant and winter transport to the ski area reduce the need to use a car every day.
Our recommendation
We recommend Evelina Palace to travellers who value friendly service, cleanliness, a central location and a traditional atmosphere. Before booking, guests should confirm the exact room category, its orientation, the current condition of the swimming pool and wellness facilities and the ski-shuttle timetable. Travellers expecting completely modern interiors, a very warm spa pool and a contemporary luxury wellness complex may prefer a newer hotel.
