Bansko is the best European ski resort for British tourists who want to spend a nice but cheap ski holiday, read a report of the Post Office company for travel services, quoted by the prweb.com website. According to it, British tourists will spend an average of merely £1002.69 (about BGN 2, 310) during a holiday at the Bulgarian resort. This price covers a 6-day lift pass and ski rental, a typical family dish, a cup of coffee or cola, stated the report.„/п“

Kranjska Gora in Slovenia ranks second in terms of being the cheapest ski resort recommended to British tourists, where the ski vacation costs an average of £1,101.21. In the rating of the company for 2009, the resort of Borovets was cited as the second least expensive ski destination in Europe in terms of lift passes and ski equipment. The use of these facilities for a six-day holiday last season cost £223.05 (€513). The Romanian city of Brasov ranked first with a price of a six-day ski pass and equipment of £163.33. This year, ski resorts in the country have kept the prices of lift passes unchanged. The value of package holidays is also at last year's levels. Ski pass prices in the best ski resorts range between €35 and €50 per day.
