According to Yulian Georgiev, a partner of SimpliBulgaria, Sunny Beach coastal resort needs to develop as independent business entity- exclusive hotels first line, business centers second and third line. In addition to that St. Vlas resort should not count as a holiday spot rather than a nice place for living. It is essential that Bourgas Airport should undergo reconstruction /it needs to be expanded at least two times/ in order to serve the needs of the constant growing tourist flow. Main areas which Sunny Beach needs to cover are the planting of the resort and the development of pedestrian areas. The opinion of Daniela Stefanova, the manager of PLH Investment, differs significantly from the above. According to her, the state should buy the hotel complexes which cannot be sold and subsequently to tear them down. Thus, entertainment parks, children playgrounds and etc. can be built in their places.

It is reported that the interest in Sunny Beach has been increased, especially from particular countries. The Netherlands comes first as Dutch youths prefer Sunny Beach for their holiday destination without paying any special extras. Tourists from Sweden come second as the majority of enquiries have been received from families and couples. Russian tourists, however, rent apartments or villas for a longer period of 1-2 months.
