hotel overview:
From the end of the 2018 season, Glarus Hotel belongs to the Berlin Hotels. For the 2019 season, it will be an addition to the Berlin Golden Beach Hotel. Berlin Golden Beach is now a hotel complex with a total of 438 standard and family rooms, studios and apartments, located on 11 floors (body A), 6 floors (body B), 4 floors (body C) and 10 floors (body D).
What guests appreciate most
The strongest advantage of Berlin Golden Beach Hotel is its beachfront position in the quieter northern part of Golden Sands, directly beside the beach and close to the marina. The hotel operates on an All Inclusive basis and consists of several buildings with outdoor pools, restaurant, bars and family entertainment. Current guests frequently praise the beachfront location, sea views, varied food, cleanliness and the friendly animation team. A practical benefit is the included allocation of one umbrella and two sun loungers per room on the beach or around the pool, subject to availability.
What guests most often complain about
Longer-term ratings are considerably more mixed than the current Booking results. Complaints include inconsistent front-desk service, slow response to technical problems, uneven housekeeping and weaker perceived value for money. Near the end of the season, some guests report a gradual reduction in buffet variety and the number of available sun loungers and umbrellas. During busy periods, the beach and shared areas can become crowded, while parking is another practical consideration.
Who is this hotel suitable for?
Berlin Golden Beach Hotel is suitable for families with children, couples and travellers who consider direct beach access and All Inclusive dining major priorities. It also suits guests who prefer the quieter northern part of Golden Sands and want to stay close to the marina without being in the busiest central resort area.
Our recommendation
We recommend Berlin Golden Beach Hotel primarily for its strong beachfront location, included beach services and good current ratings for location, cleanliness and food. Guests should nevertheless have realistic expectations regarding consistency of service and technical maintenance. Before booking, it is advisable to confirm the exact building and room category, parking conditions, the precise scope of the All Inclusive programme and the current rules for beach umbrellas and sun loungers.
