Just returned from pamporovo last night had a excellent week skiing, snow was very good & it snowed all day on saturday.
Stayed at the hotel merryan, the food was very good & hot, staff were extremely freindly & helpful it's good to see that small family run Hotels can compete with the larger hotels, i would recomend this hotel & plan on returning this christmas

i will be flying out on the 31st for my 11th year in pamporovo cant wate to get there going a bit earlyer this year with 6 mates then due to return on the 21st feb. hope the snow keeps falling

Hi Lloyd been raining all day today not looking to
good for skiing runs are very bad now snow not good sorry came off the slopes today like drowned rats snow melting quite bad needs a major snow fall don't know if we will be skiing tomorrow will keep you all upto date hope it helps you I know it's not the best news keep praying cheers alan

we are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your holiday. Unfortunately, nobody really knew whether it would be snowing during the festive season. Abnormal weather conditions for BG during this time. Would share with us some info about places that you like/dislike, so we can avoid visiting such places in the future /not all places are expensive we assume/ . Thanx a lot

Hi Lisa,
snow forecast is that it will be snowing until 9th of January. Therefore there should be excellent conditions for skiing. There are many snow cannons in Pamporovo, some of which recently installed. Indeed they will be working when the temperatures are plummeting to 3 degrees below zero. However, it is expected that weather will be cold enough, so no worries :) We will also update the snow forecast in the end of the next week /9-16th of Jan/

Arrived back from Pamporovo last night, sking conditions terible, slopes closed for 2 days and the rest was too dangerous to ski on as ice and on green slopes no swnow at all had to take skis off, Snow cannons only work when tempreture is -3 and yesterday temperature was 12 degrees. Reps lied to you about lift passes you can buy them for 20 lev cheaper directly on the slopes and ski instructors take less money on the slopes than booking direct with a rep. Hotel Orlovetz was supppose to be a 5 star and was more like a 3 star, food was dreadful, staff rude all in all a HORRIBLE holiday and would NEVER recommend to go, If you want to ski DONT book PAMPOROVO go to Switzeland insteAd!!

well if you want to no the snow conditions look at snow reports so far it says there is snow that is about 2-4 inches.
will be flying out this saturday for pamporovo with a mate, so should be fun

Thank you for your question. The average temperature in Pamporovo in January varies from 1-3 degress above zero. Usually there is plenty of snow at this time. Actually, it is raining right know and gradually the the rain may turn into snow due to the temperatures. It is expected that from the beginning of Dec on snow precipitations will be in abundance. Pamporovo has a healthy climate, mild and you will take advantage of sunny weather and perfect snow conditions in January.
